RE: How's your digital TV broadcast reception?

By definition any station broadcasting digitally can also broadcast HD material. Not all shows are in HD yet, many will continue in SD for a while, and some may never be. The good news is that there are more and more programs every day that are produced in HD....

RE: Receiving cable tv in campgrounds in 2009

why is this so hard to understand for so many people? this only affects free TV that is sent out over the air and received by an antenna!! end of story. If you get cable, or satellite it doesn't affect you.Read what the OP said. The CG operator has gone far enough to get a quote on changing the park analog modulators to ATSC, and it's a $50k hit for him to do that, and that's about right depending on what the head-end looks like. Some day he will have to make the change.
Be nice!
The ATSC signal modulation is an over the air modulation only! The cable equivalent is QAM, and is currently sent right along with analog and digital modulations by most cable providers. In fact I have been able to receive QAM signals in many CG's already.

RE: XM Radio password reset request

Just to be sure I'd go directly to the XM site. Do not use the link in the e-mails. Make sure you can log on with your password. Then change the password to a new one......

RE: Receiving cable tv in campgrounds in 2009

The switch to digital broadcasting does not affect cable TV feeds period. What he's getting from the local cable company and splitting up to each campsite will not change next year.
To address those who have converter boxes installed, this is where the "analog pass thru" feature comes in to play. If the converter has analog pass thru then all you have to do is turn it off, hook up the cable feed and cable signals would be passed to the TV's in your vehicle.....

RE: towing a toyota camry

You cannot tow the Camry 4 down. We used a tow dolly which tows just fine, although it's a pain in the butt to rig and unrig.
Actually it can be with the afore mentioned lube pump from Remco.
Remco web site:
"For over 14 years and with over 80,000 units sold, the REMCO Lube Pump has proven to be a safe and reliable product for towing your front wheel drive vehicle. The Lube Pump will fit most front wheel drive vehicles made by GM, Ford, Chrysler, Mitsubishi, Toyota, Nissan and some Mazdas."

In addition to the 4 down scenario you can use a dolly for the Camry also.

RE: Tagged Again

If that's the case rather than throwing in the towel I'd consider finding a competent welding shop to re do and beef up the structure in that area....

RE: Question - Generator vs. Drive Motor

You should only have one source of 120V AC power on at any one time. Either the Inverter or the Generator but not both. In either case all 120V AC components should operate with the exception of the Air conditioners on inverter power. As you've already found out you do need to recharge the coach batteries periodically while using the inverter. This can be accomplished by running your engine (Cummins) or by using your generator.

RE: Emptying Water Heater

BIG QUESTION: WHAT DOES "BYPASS" MEAN?
WHAT IS BEING BYPASSED????????????
It by passes the water heater. No fresh water in and none out. It's used to drain the water heater for winterizing. With the valve in by pass you can drain the heater.....

RE: Computer Speakers and...

I recommend the Klipsch Pro Media 2.1 THX computer speaker. I've tried a few and these sound the best IMHO. Were talking $150 computer speakers here.
For music I'm a Mac person and use iTunes since I have multiple iPods. MP3's are fine but you want to keep the bit rates no less than 192 k bit/second.

RE: Storage Compartment key - security alert

Virtually everyone's storage door keys are CH751. It does come in handy to know this when you lock your keys in the rig. Don't ask me how I know this. Any dealer can order different lock cylinders for you, or you can have a locksmith re-key them.

RE: Strange boat trailer - can it be fixed? (Repost with pics)

Move the winch pedestal forward. It won't take much a few inches at most. Looks easy! Loosen the U-bolts and slide forward. Do this at the boat ramp. Then load the boat all the way up to the new location. You will now have tongue weight....

RE: Ontario Class A Owners. The Rules Have Changed.

Keep in mind this is only for residents of Ontario. The rules also say this:
"Driver license reciprocity
Ontario permits an out-of-province driver to drive a vehicle or combination of vehicles in Ontario if the driver is properly licensed to drive the vehicle or combination in their Province or State of residency and the licence is valid."
